The webcomics collection of scripts is made for daily downloading and viewing of comics that have been published on the web. The webcomics scripts can however also be used for any other tasks that involves downloading web content (e.g stock quotes or wheather reports) on a regular basis.
Adding new comics for download is easy, just create .ini files for your favourite comics. There's a bunch of examples available of how to do this.
